fear

What fear is and how to overcome our fear?

 

I have thought about this and read articles that influenced me and made me to write this piece of paper.

 

Well, fear is a natural feeling originating from instinct of self-preservation. 

Firstly, I want to note that our imagination is a powerful tool. Imagination is a basis of every human creativity stating from creative thinking till complex calculation formulas. Your imagination feeds your brain with thoughts, ideas, suggestions and fantasies. But it also can bring negative thoughts which arouses negative feelings like fear.

 

You may not be afraid of water, but what keeps you off swimming in water in nighttime? Fear. It is your imaginations, which creates fear. You may not be afraid of a crocodile, but your imagination makes you to be afraid. 

 

Fear is an imagination. Its an altered state of mind. Fear is your altered anticipations caused by uncertainty.

 

Uncertainty is the  core reason that brings fear to your mind. Most of people are still afraid to step in dark room without lights turned on. Why? Because, there is uncertainty. You don't know what is there inside the dark room. You experience doubts. Uncertainty is usually caused by lack knowledge. The lack of knowledge is literally a lack of information.

 

So, overall, in most cases the lack of information is one of the main reasons of fear and its likewise consequences like worry, stress and depression.

 

How to handle fear?

 

Firstly, find out the core reason of you fear. Your should sort out what causes fear? What makes you fear?

 

Secondly, search for more information about that reason. The more information you have the better. You should have more information in your hands. The more information - the less fear. 

 

Thirdly, you have to under appreciate the reason of fear.
